The African Football Confederation (CAF) has announced the date for the draw of the 2025 Africa Cup qualification. The draw will take place on 4 July 2024 in Johannesburg, South Africa. It will start at 14:30 (CEST) in the SuperSport studios in South Africa. In addition to representatives from the participating countries, several African football legends will also be present. Members of the organizing committee for the Africa Cup 2025 in Morocco will also be in attendence.

The draw will include the 44 highest-ranked countries according to the FIFA rankings as of June 20. Additionally, the names of the 4 countries that have won the preliminary round will also be included in the draw.

During the draw, the 48 countries will be divided into 12 groups of 4 teams each. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Africa Cup of Nations.
